1970-74 E-body NON A/C Heater Box Gasket Set
Reverse engineered, laser cut foams and sealing caulk required to restore the deteriorated foams in the non-air heater box of your 1970-74 E Body.

Manufactured by Detroit Muscle Technologies.

Also includes ductboard.

Included in the kit:

- Fresh air door foams (D shaped charcoal foams)

- Heat/Defrost door foams (rectangular charcoal foams)

- Hot/Cold door foams (square charcoal foams)

- White poly anti-rattle bushings for 2 of the doors (like OEM)

- Black neoprene foam tubes to seal heater core tubes to firewall

- Black neoprene fresh air to cowl seal (large, black, D shaped foam)

- Off white sealing rope caulk (goes between 2 box halves)

- Black neoprene blower motor to metal pan gasket (round light gray)

- Black neoprene blower motor to firewall seal (large, round, black with big and small holes) (2 are provided because the factory used one or the other)

- NEW! Driver side fresh air vent to cowl seal added.

A heater box can be disassembled, cleaned, foams installed and reassembled in an afternoon. I usually glass bead blast the metal "doors" and all brackets. Wash the housing in hot soapy water witha scrub brush to clean out 30 years of movie tickets and leaves. Spray all the metal doors and brackets with a "metal look" quality paint (like Rustoleum Titanium). Then apply high temp spray adhesive to both the door and the foam. Wait for the adhesive to "set up" for a couple minutes and then apply the foams to the doors. Assemble in reverse order and install your heater box and save yourself $300+ having it done!

Also see our floor diffuser ductboard reproduction part available for this application.

Price: $35.00
